About Me

Curiosity is the key that leads to all great things. I love creating, connecting ideas. Applying multiple techniques such as motion design, illustration, visual design, and user experience design, to create meaningful deliverables. But more importantly, I live for pushing the limits and exploring new possibilities. It’s not just my duty as a designer to solve problems, but it’s also important for me as a designer to constantly seek new ways of improvement within the world, and to continue to push the boundaries of what we perceive to be the most effective tools and best solutions to our daily lives.

Work Mindset

Grit

Process is an integral part of design, and the path is rarely ever a straight shot. It’s important to have the grit to keep pushing and persevere through inevitable road bumps throughout the project.

Focus

The design process uncovers a multitude of different problems and solutions. The key is to find which pain points, targets, and solutions to focus on, and maximizing on the most optimal path.

Hunger

Design is never completed and the job is never done. Future improvement can always be made, and it’s important to remain hungry and passionate about discovering brand new solutions to existing problems.

Communication

There is a reason for everything within the design process. Clearly communicating how specific solutions increase engagement and business goals, asking the right questions, communicating design iterations throughout every step of the way, and being able to relate those solutions back to concrete reasoning, are key components to the success of a project.

Creativity

Design is not purely idea generation and thinking. Craft and the execution of an idea, are equally important to creating an exceptional deliverable for the client and business.

Research

Successful deliverables come from understanding who the client is, what their motivations and goals are, what they want to communicate and educate, who the audience they want to reach out to is, and what kind of call to action the deliverable needs to implement, in order to help that audience take that action. These are all important questions that need to be uncovered, before beginning a project.

Adaptability

The landscape is always changing and evolving, depending on new-found needs, ongoing trends, and increases in technology and business goals. It’s important to be able to stay fluid, adaptable, and agile in a landscape that thrives on change and innovation.

Teamwork

Design is always a team effort. Understanding and utilizing each other’s strengths and weaknesses, along with having clear, concise communication and empathy for your teammates’ needs, are necessary for a successful product.
